Bichectomy
Bichectomy, also known as cheek slimming surgery, is a facial contouring surgery preferred by patients who have a round or oval face shape and want to accentuate their features. By removing the Bichat fat pad (buccal fat pad), which is located deep in the area just above the corners of the mouth, with an incision made from inside the mouth mucosa, the fullness in this area is reduced. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. The prominence of the cheekbones and sharp facial features are common characteristics of what is considered 'beautiful' today. This is one of the most effective reasons for choosing bichectomy surgery.

After bichectomy, patients have a V-shaped face instead of an oval one and more defined features.
