The lip lift operation is a surgical procedure preferred by patients who are not satisfied with the aesthetic appearance of the area due to the excessive distance between the lip and the nose. The distance between the upper lip and the nose being greater than necessary can disrupt the ideal proportion of the face and therefore the aesthetic appearance. The lip lift operation aims to achieve the ideal distance between the nose and lips for the patient, aiming for a golden ratio appearance.

The ideal and aesthetic distance between the nose and lips can vary from patient to patient. For example, the ideal distance between the nose and lips for our male patients is longer than for our female patients. However, it can generally be said that the ideal nose-lip distance is between 12-15 millimeters. The lip lift operation can be preferred by patients who are disturbed by the nose-lip distance due to genetic factors (congenital) or by patients who experience sagging due to aging.
The lip lift operation, performed under local anesthesia within 30-60 minutes, can be performed with different techniques.
